Front Yard Landscaping Installation- Malvern PA.

This project involved a front yard upgrade is complete with plant beds, a walkway, ornamental boulders, and LED outdoor lighting. Our team sculpted beds which complimented the shape of the home and its walkway, filling them with Boxwoods, Dwarf Cryptomeria, Spirea (Little Princess), Japanese Fringe, Hibiscus, a Japanese Maple, and a mix of deer-resistant perennials. Accent boulders and a boulder wall outlining the perimeter of the one of the beds provide a natural sense of structure to the gardens. Finally, an upgrade this lovely is not complete without lights, so we installed LED outdoor lighting to accent both house and the beautiful, new garden.

Boulder Retaining Wall- Berwyn, PA.

In this project, our team installed beds and a boulder retaining wall to greatly improve the appearance of of this homeowner’s front yard and resolve some of their challenges. What was previously a grassy hillside prone to erosion during heavy rains is now a aesthetically pleasing bed providing structural integrity with majestic boulders and foliage. We filled the beds with Plum Yew (cephalotaxus), Drwaf Nandina, Holly Osmanthus, a Japanese Cedar (Yoshino Cryptomeria), various Ferns, and Vinca Minor for ground cover, and a mix of deer resistant perennials. LED outdoor lighting (Ballard Designs) was placed at key locations through the yard to highlight this beautiful foliage and its surrounding boulders.

We built this patio with a silvery grey pavers stone to provide a space for these homeowners to enjoy their backyard. A sitting wall with colorful plantings along its outer edge, including Boxwoods and a lovely Crepe Myrtle, add a lovely frame the outdoor space. A matching walkway leads to a grill station conveniently placed nearby!

Here we took advantage of the downhill slope of this homeowner’s backyard to create a tiered garden with a flagstone patio at the base. The garden is hedged with boulders and contains a natural stone staircase, adding the effect of a mountainous forest.

This homeowners backyard was a plain canvas, allowing us to showcase how water features, landscaping, and hardscaping can come together to create a truly breathtaking panorama. An elegant flagstone patio with a seating wall along the perimeter acts as a beautiful outdoor extension of the home. The addition of a stone walkaway,  flanked by lush beds of shrubs and flowers conveniently leads to a lower level patio where the homeowners can warm up by our stone fire pit.
